Pre-Nursing Status
In order to declare Pre-nursing, freshmen and transfer students admitted to the University must must have a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0 based on all university/college course work. In order to progress in Pre-nursing, students must meet the following:
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or better at the completion of the courses in the first two semesters.
- Grade of B or better in all pre-requisite science courses:
- CHEM 1203 and Lab
- CHEM 1204 and lab
- BIOL 1273 and lab
- BIOL 1274 and lab
- BIOL 1259 and lab

Grade of B or better in the following pre-nursing courses
- NURS 2100: General Nutrition
- NURS 2200: Human Growth and Development

Overall GPAA of 3.0 or better at the completion of courses in each of the 3rd and 4th semesters.

Completion of all nursing pre-nursing pre-requisite course with a pre-requisite GPA of 3.0 or better.
