GRAD 8002/6002. Responsible Conduct of Research. (2) Designed to benefit graduate students across the university and is an introduction to several aspects of a successful professional career emphasizing research. The focus is on practical skills and critical thinking about the responsible conduct of research, highlighting the nine areas of instruction required by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Science Foundation (NSF). The course will feature several different speakers with expertise in various areas of professionalism and research ethics. (Spring)
